Noctave is an overnight snore & sleep audio recorder for iPhone. You tap start at bedtime and it records through the night. On-device sound analysis detects snoring, and you wake to a morning report and trends over time. All recording and analysis happens on your device.

No. Your recordings and sleep audio stay on your device. They are never uploaded to the developer or any server, and the developer cannot hear your recordings. Noctave has no backend of its own that receives your audio.

Snore detection runs on your device using Apple's on-device SoundAnalysis framework. Your audio is analyzed locally and is not sent to any server.

No. Noctave is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor sleep apnea or any medical condition. It is for general informational and personal-interest purposes only. If you have any sleep or health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Yes — Noctave uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it. It collects anonymous usage events (like a night being recorded or a report being viewed) plus a per-install identifier (IDFV) and an app-generated random ID. We never send it your audio. There are no ads, no advertising identifier (IDFA), and no cross-app or cross-website tracking, and we never sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Microphone access is required so Noctave can record while you sleep. It is requested when you start recording, and you can revoke it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Optional local notifications can be enabled for soft bedtime reminders.

Noctave offers Noctave Plus in three options: a Weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, an Annual subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The price is always shown before you buy. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and you can manage or cancel them any time in your App Store account settings.
